Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how EarnVideo LLC (“earn.video,” “we,” “us”) handles information across the public website and the application for creators, sponsors, and participating organizations.
Scope
This policy applies to earn.video websites, applications, and related services. It covers information supplied directly, created while the service operates, or received from services a user chooses to connect.
The information we handle depends on the features you use. Joining the waitlist does not create an account, connect a social account, or upload a video. The application sections below apply when you use the relevant feature.
Account, identity, organization, and profile data
When you join the creator waitlist, we collect your email address and any TikTok or YouTube handles you choose to provide. We use these details to manage your application, understand your content interests, prioritize early access, and contact you about access or your application. Providing a handle does not authorize access to your social account or its private analytics. Handles are optional.
We handle information needed to create and secure accounts, including names, email addresses, authentication identifiers, organization and membership details, roles, creator-profile information, and pilot invite records.
The app supports Google sign-in and email-and-password sign-in. Google authenticates users under its own terms; earn.video does not receive a user's Google password. We also use authentication cookies or tokens that are necessary to maintain sessions and protect accounts.
Footage, sponsor assets, and generated artifacts
Sponsors may provide product images, logos, references, campaign instructions, placement rules, and other brand materials. Creators may provide footage and related rights confirmations.
The editing pipeline may create analysis results, candidate tracks, masks, intermediate renders, previews, approved exports, and records of review, approval, publication, and verification.
Footage and sponsor materials may be processed by automated analysis and AI models, sometimes through third-party service providers, to understand content, plan placements, and generate edits. We do not use uploaded footage to identify or authenticate individuals.
Footage and rendering intermediates are sensitive media. We use private storage and access controls to limit access to authorized users, workers, and providers as needed to operate the service.
Usage, security, support, and transaction records
Service infrastructure handles request and network information needed to deliver and secure the service, such as device and browser details, IP address, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events. The public marketing site does not currently use advertising or analytics trackers.
We also handle support communications and records needed to operate campaigns and accounts. Transaction records can include campaign funding, budget reservations, spend, accepted offer terms, settlements, and payouts. When you use payment features, Stripe collects payment details through its hosted forms. We receive customer and transaction identifiers, amounts, currency, payment status, and payment-method references needed to reconcile payments; our application does not receive full card numbers or card security codes from those hosted forms.
How we use data
We use information to:
- manage waitlist applications and send access-related communications;
- provide accounts, organizations, access, and support;
- operate campaigns and apply eligibility and placement rules;
- understand footage and match it with eligible campaigns;
- generate, review, and deliver sponsored edits;
- verify publications and report available performance data;
- calculate campaign spend, earnings, settlements, and payouts;
- protect the service and prevent fraud, abuse, and harmful use; and
- comply with legal obligations and improve service reliability.
earn.video does not offer a standalone analytics product. Social and content data are used to operate sponsorship matching, reporting, and the related payment workflow.
When we disclose data
We disclose information to providers that help operate functions such as hosting, authentication, storage, AI and model processing, security, communications, social connections, and payments. Providers receive information only as needed for their work and operate under their own terms and contractual obligations.
Providers include Convex (database and authentication), Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Google (sign-in and authorized YouTube connections), Fontshare (website font delivery), and Resend (transactional email, such as access invitations and account messages). Application features may also use Modal and Perplexity (AI processing and analysis), and Stripe (payment processing). A waitlist submission does not send footage to AI providers or payment information to Stripe.
We may also disclose information when required by law, in response to lawful requests, to protect people or the service, to investigate misuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Safety review or reporting of prohibited material may be legally required. The applicable process depends on the content, service operation, and law.
Retention and deletion
We retain personal information for the purposes described in this policy, taking into account whether an application or account remains active, outstanding campaign or payment obligations, support and security needs, and applicable legal and platform requirements. The criteria below explain how retention is determined. Applicable legal deadlines also govern our handling of deletion requests.
- Waitlist information: while we manage your application and early-access communications. You may ask us to remove your application and stop these communications at any time by emailing support@earn.video. If you become a user, relevant application details may become part of your account records. We review whether pending applications remain necessary as the early-access program changes or ends.
- Account and profile information: while your account is active and as needed to handle closure, outstanding obligations, and verified access or deletion requests.
- Creator footage and working source copies: as needed to process the requested edit, handle retries, and investigate an associated issue or dispute.
- Analysis artifacts and render intermediates: as needed for processing, troubleshooting, and verification of an edit, or a specific safety or dispute investigation.
- Final sponsored exports: as needed for delivery, the applicable campaign and monitoring period, and associated verification or disputes.
- Transaction, ledger, and tax records: necessary accounting and tax records may be retained for up to 7 years under our recordkeeping policy. Applicable legal requirements and outstanding obligations determine which records must be kept; this does not require retaining an entire account or all its media.
- Safety reviews and reports: as necessary for the investigation and for any legally required reporting or preservation.
- Connected social data: as needed for the authorized feature and subject to the connected platform's retention and deletion rules. Revocation stops new authorized collection; stored data is handled according to those rules and applicable law. Separate settlement records may need to be retained for accounting or dispute purposes.
- Support communications: as needed to address the request and maintain relevant support or dispute records.
- Security and access logs: as needed for service operation, fraud prevention, and security investigations.
- Backups: deletion from active systems may not immediately remove copies held in backups. Backup retention and expiry depend on the provider and service configuration.
We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer necessary for these purposes, subject to applicable preservation requirements. To request deletion, contact us as described below. Requests are handled through our support process; joining the waitlist does not require an account to make a request. Necessary retained records remain subject to access controls and the purposes for which they are retained.
Your choices and rights
You may update account and profile information through available account features. If you connect a social account, you may revoke them through the service or the connected platform.
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information, or close an account, by contacting support@earn.video. We may need to verify the request and retain information required for accepted campaigns, security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
We will respond to valid requests within the time required by applicable law. For example, under California law we will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, and you may use an authorized agent to make a request. We may extend the response time where the law allows and will tell you if we do.
Depending on where you live, local law may provide additional rights. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.
California privacy rights
EarnVideo LLC is the business responsible for the personal information covered by this policy.
If you are a California resident and the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to us, you have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and request a copy of it;
- request that we delete personal information we collected from you;
- request that we correct inaccurate personal information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information;
- limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information; and
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by law.
To exercise these rights, contact support@earn.video. You may use an authorized agent as described above. We will verify your request and will not discriminate against you for making one.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including access controls and private handling of sensitive media. No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a security incident affecting personal information, we will investigate and provide notices as required by applicable law.
International processing
We and our providers may process and store information in countries other than the one where a user lives, including the United States. Data-protection laws may differ between countries. Where required, we use measures intended to support lawful transfers.
Minors
Accounts and waitlist applications are intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, do not create an account, join the waitlist, or submit registration or application information. We do not knowingly collect that information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an under-18 person has provided it, we will take appropriate steps to remove their application or close their account and delete the information, except where preservation is required by law. To report such information, contact support@earn.video.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The page will show the latest update date, and we will provide additional notice when required by law.
Connected social accounts, permissions, and metrics
A creator may choose to connect a supported social account and authorize specific permissions. We may then receive platform identifiers, account information, publication details, and available post metrics such as views, likes, comments, shares, country data, or watch-time data.
Connecting a social account does not itself authorize earn.video to publish. If a creator separately authorizes publishing, we may use that connection to publish on the creator's behalf in accordance with their instructions.
Supported connections include YouTube. Authorization may involve access tokens, refresh tokens, and permission records, which we use to maintain the connection and request authorized data. You can revoke access through the connected platform to stop new collection. You may also contact us to request disconnection and deletion, subject to applicable platform rules and legal recordkeeping requirements.
YouTube connections use YouTube API Services. See the Google Privacy Policy. You can review and revoke our access through your Google account permissions.
Audience information supplied by a platform may be an estimate; it is not a list of actual viewers. Content understanding does not identify the people who watched a post. Unavailable data is treated as unavailable, not as zero.
